Visit www.clickatell.com
and create a "Central Account". Once the account is created and you have logged in:
- Click on the "Manage My Products" tab
- Click on the "Add Connection" link
- Select the "HTTP" from the Product list.
- Give your API a unique name
- Leave all the other settings blank
- Click on the "Submit" button
- Copy the "API ID" provided.
- Click on the "My Settings" tab
- Click on the "Manage Sender IDs" link
- Copy the Sender ID provided
This is the mobile number you registered with.*
- Download the widget
* The Sender ID is what will appear as the mobile the SMS was sent from Some networks
do not honour this setting.
 Click on the "Download Now" button and save the .zip file.

Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than
Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show
Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
- Double click on the .zip file. The widget will be extracted to that folder

- Double click on the widget icon to install the widget

- To manage your dashboard widgets, press F12 then click on the "+" located at the bottom left of your screen

- Press F12 to show your active widgets.
- Find the Clickatell MAC SMS Widget and move your mouse over the bottom right of the widget
- Click on the "i" that shows up, this will take you to the setup page.
- Fill in your clickatell.com Username into to field
- Fill in your clickatell.com Password into to field
- Fill in your clickatell.com API ID into to API Key field
- Fill in your clickatell.com Sender ID into the Sender ID field. optional
- Click on "Get Balance" to check if your details are correct.
(If they are correct, you will see the amount of credits you currently have)
- Click on "Save" to save your settings and close the setup screen


Make sure you see the green 'ONLINE' just below the Clickatell logo and you are ready to send!
A red 'OFFLINE' means the widget cannot access the 'net. Fill in a mobile number with international code, no '+','-' or spaces.
Type in your message in the large text area provided, limited to 160 characters, and click on "Send". If the message is successfully
sent, then you will see a message ID. If it was unsuccessful, you will see an error code.

To buy credits, enter the setup screen and click on the "Buy Credits" button.
This will take you to www.clickatell.com where you need to login. Click on the "Billing" tab to proceed with stocking up on credits.
